About this tour

This is a stretch of coast with real geological and biological range. Geology buffs come for the oddly shaped rock, walkers and nature lovers for the trails, and there is plenty here for the water crowd too: several protected marine areas where snorkelling all but sells itself.

Cap de Creus

This route suits families who want to walk Cap de Creus with young children, as the path is easygoing with nothing technical about it. We head into the Paratge de Tudela, one of the most striking parts of the headland. Tudela is known for its remarkable rock, and it was a source Salvador Dalí drew on again and again in his work. You will see how the stone, worn down over millions of years by wind and sea, ends up in strange, dreamlike shapes. Tudela also holds some of the richest plant and animal life in the area.
