Dalí House Cadaqués — Tickets to House-Museum Portlligat 2026

This was Salvador Dalí's only permanent home, on the bay of Portlligat a few minutes from Cadaqués. The house-museum keeps the studio where he painted some of his best-known works, the living room full of odd objects, the bedroom with its mirror angled to catch the sunrise from the bed, and the terraced gardens with the phallus-shaped pool and the Christ sculpture made of tyres. The audio-guided visit runs about 45 minutes and takes you through the most private rooms of the artist and of Gala, his wife and muse.

• Book ahead: only 8 visitors per time slot, and they sell out fast in high season.
• Arrive 10-15 minutes before your assigned time.
• Flash photography is not allowed inside.
• Large bags and backpacks must be left at the free cloakroom.
• Wear comfortable shoes; the gardens have uneven steps.

• The house-museum is not fully accessible for visitors with reduced mobility, owing to its many levels and narrow staircases.
• Pets are not allowed.

• Children under 8: free entry.
