Tour of Roses

About this tour

Roses was founded by the Greeks in the 6th century BC, who came to the Iberian Peninsula seeking to open new markets. They established two settlements in the Gulf of Roses: Empúries (La Escala) and Rhode, the present-day Roses. Many centuries have passed to reach today's paradise-like Roses, where thousands of tourists arrive each year. Tradition and modernity await in this nearly two-hour tour of Roses, where among many other things, we'll also explain what it means to be "tocat de la Tramuntana".
