About this tour
Perelada Castle is worth the trip for the building alone, but it also holds one of the oldest and most complete wineries in the area. On this tour you taste the local wines and go behind the scenes to see how and where they are kept, to a standard few can match.

First Stop
The winemakers meet you here and take you out among the vines of this historic estate, sharing what they know about each variety they grow.
First Tasting
Then comes the tasting: a selection of the Castell de Perelada wines, from the first aromas to the fuller flavours, each one showing the work that went into the bottle. Cheers!
Second Winery
The second and final stop, out in the countryside, where the growers walk you through the vines. Afterwards you sit down to lunch of local produce paired with the estate's own wines.
Return
We drop you back where the day started. After a day among the wines and the vines, it is time to rest. See you on the next one!

Address
Plaça de Catalunya, 12, 17004 Girona. Default departure point in Girona, at Plaça de Catalunya, next to the ice cream shop "La Gioconda". The meeting point can also be agreed with the client.
How to get there
If you do not want hotel pickup, the default meeting point is a 2-minute walk from the Town Hall, next to the Tourist Office. From the train or bus station, it is about 15 minutes on foot towards the river. If coming by car, you can park in Plaça de Catalunya in a paid parking. Free parking is available a bit further at Parc de la Devesa.
